As of July 1st this year, the new license revocation for a second offense DUI is eighteen months.  Omaha DUI lawyers and judges are still getting used to the legislation, as the new revocation period only affects drivers with arrest dates on or after July 1st.  Nebraska Revised Statute Section 60-6,197.03 has been amended by the Nebraska Legislature to increase the previous one year license revocation period to eighteen months.  Most everything else remains the same, including the previous 45 day waiting period for the interlock device.
